The company history:

Aaris Therapy Group was founded in March 2003. Aaris began as Gold Therapy Services, focusing mainly on pediatric therapy. In the last 12 years the practice has grown to include an expanded outpatient facility and over 18 school contracts. Aaris continues to offer outpatient speech, occupational, and physical therapies as well as applied behavioral analysis at our office facility and in the community for families interested in a high quality therapy service delivery model. In August 2013, Gold Therapy Services changed names to Aaris Therapy Group to reemphasize its true specialty area, therapies focused around special education and helping students’ access curriculum including social skill groups.

aaristiffany1 We are happy to announce that Tiffany has just returned from the Social Thinking Clinic-Boston where she attended a 3 day clinical training in Social Thinking (a program by Michelle Garcia Winner. More information can be found at socialthinking.com) Tiffany holds a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Akron and Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association as well as licensure from the Ohio Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.  She is an active member of the Ohio Speech Language Hearing Association as well as the national organization, American Speech Language Hearing Association. She is certified in Beckman© Oral Motor Protocol, Hanen© It Takes Two to Talk Program, PECS© and is a Rhythmic Entrainment Intervention Provider.  She has completed the Solving the Social Equation mentorship at the Stern Center for Language and Learning in Burlington, Vermont with a focus on the Social Thinking© curriculum. She has 22 years experience working with children with special needs and 17 years experience working with children ages birth to 18 years of age who are diagnosed with a variety of disorders, deficits, and challenges.  In the last 9 years she has had the honor of working with school administration to develop and improve therapy programming and documentation procedures as well as training teachers and staff on collaborative goal writing for IEPs.  She has worked with teachers across the state to involve language based multi-sensory graphic organizers and social cognitive strategies for improved student performance in the classroom.
