The Aaris Difference: Passionate, Inquisitive, Thorough
At Aaris, our speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are passionate about helping your child find their voice. We collaborate closely with you, your child, and other professionals / educational teams to support communication across all environments. Our SLPs provide comprehensive assessments and ongoing support for children from birth to 21 years old, addressing areas such as intelligibility, comprehension, reading skills, fluency, social skills, and feeding. We are adept at working with students using alternative augmentation communication strategies as well as understanding the difference between functional language (the ability to use language effectively) compared to academic language (using and understanding grade level vocabulary and grammar).
We serve a wide range of speech/language needs, including:
- Articulation and intelligibility
- Auditory processing
- Cognition
- Feeding
- Fluency
- Stuttering
- Oral motor
- Pragmatic language
- Receptive and Expressive language
- Social skills
- Reading (decoding and comprehension)
- Spelling
